Highlights Reel-

The rain mostly stopped! Mostly. It started to come back Saturday night after we played volleyball in the park for NDH and since then it's rained a few nights and constant downpour is supposed to come back this weekend. What a shame that the Bible has full step-by-step instructions, measurements, and material lists to build the tabernacle but the Book of Mormon doesn't do the same for the Jaredite barges.

Alcorcón's still awesome:

Harry and his family got baptized a few months ago, and they love the gospel. We wanted to help them do family scripture study consistently so we challenged them to read together every night for 30 days. If they do it we have to find a way to paint cat whiskers on our faces and send them a selfie. The things we do to help people strengthen their faith...

We taught Jordan about the Plan of Salvation this week, and he had lots of questions. That's awesome because the people who have no questions, comments, or concerns about anything we're teaching usually aren't paying attention. We talked about what everyone's chance to hear the gospel (in this world or the next) would look like, and given that we don't know all the details we got to look at him and say "I don't know, but I know that God's the one in charge. I know that He is perfectly just, so there's no 'cheating the system' and He's perfectly merciful, so no one will be judged unfairly"

1 Nephi 11:17
"And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things"

And how great is it that God is and always will be the Judge and Planner, and our only job is to love and strengthen one another, and to act in the plan that He has laid out for us.

Wow, I almost forgot that we had Zone Conference last week. We had some awesome trainings, and saw all the missionaries from both Madrid zones. There's a picture of me with my mission son and *his* mission son out there somewhere. I'll send it out if I find it.

Nos vemos!
