Party Time- "Come And See"

Missionaries often wonder about the best way to find new people to teach, or even just meet people. The average person in public is usually a little turned off by the name tag, excelent profesional fashion sense, and exotic accent. We've recently decided that we want to help people see our human side, so we've been developing some activities where we can connect our friends with members and invite total strangers to "come and see". We kicked it off this week with something we called "Desayuno y Deportes" (Breakfast and Sports). We got a ton of people to pull up, eat pancakes, chat, make friends, see the church, play volleyball, and be happy! We saw some real progress so we've decided to take it upon ourselves to organize ward activities as much as possible!

We've made awesome progress with some of our friends this week!

Lorena and Leidy are sisters who are renting a room form one of our members, and have attended church a few times already. They invited us to share a message with them this week! We talked about spiritual experiences, and read King Benjamin's prophecy of Christ to demonstrate firsthand how the book invites the Holy Ghost. He will always be there when we testify of Christ. We're heading back this week!

There's a few more similar situations... our members are awesome and the gospel calls to people! I wish I had time to talk about everything!

Fastest Slice of Life ever...
Our quad's been shuffled again... all three elders who were here when I arrived have left. We recently lost Elder Taylor, the quad chef, but the culinary creativity that's appeared in his wake has been legendary. We won't starve.
